Pedigree Book

A Pedigree Book will be included with each catalog sold at this year’s National Specialty.

The Book contains four separate sections: 

Pedigree section: For breeders and owners who wish to honor the dogs of his or her kennel. A valuable resource for learning and chronicling the ancestry of our breed. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.

Memorial section: For those who wish to honor the life of his or her dog. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.

Performance section: For those who wish to honor the accomplishments of his or her dogs in performance venues. All dogs will appear in alphabetical order by kennel name.

Open advertising, including covers:  Any advertisement (brags/litter announcements/business/etc) with no set formatting style. Create your own or independent design services are available (please contact Cindy Hill to coordinate). Inside front cover, inside back cover, and back cover placements available.

This is a template ad that is assembled for you. Ad is full page and will include ONLY the following information:

• Dog’s full name with titles
• ONE black and white photo of dog (people and win placards will be cropped/edited out)
• Dog’s call name
• Registration number
• Birthdate
• Gender
• CHIC# OR Health clearance numbers (Hip, Eye, Cardiac, XL-PRA & RD/OSD)
• Name of breeder(s)
• Name of owner(s)
• Email address
• Three generation pedigree

Performance Ads

This is a template ad that is assembled for you. Ad is full page and will include ONLY the following information:

• Dog’s full name with titles
• ONE black and white photo of dog (people and win placards will be cropped/edited out)

Open Ads

This is an ad that is submitting as print-ready. It is a full-page, back and white ad. It may include any information such as special wins, upcoming litters, business advertisements, etc.

Finished document size 8.75” x 11.25”.

There are three cover spots available on a first come, first served basis: (1) Inside front cover, (1) Inside back cover and (1) Back cover.  Contact Cindy Hill to reserve a cover option.

All open ads are to be submitted as print-ready and will be published exactly as received. No editing or changes will be made.
